Inspired by our grandmother, this is a very special pattern creation.  Our grandmother, whose nickname for us was “Dolly,” loved knitting this afghan and made one for each of her many grandchildren.  We recreated this pattern in her memory and we hope that this afghan will become an heirloom for someone special in your life, just like it has in our family.  Twelve skeins of Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride will give you approximate finished dimensions of 42 inches wide by 62 inches long, but you can make the afghan as long as you’d like! How clever is that?
